Therese Allison, Esq. brings nearly ten years of experience in asset management and international consulting as well as significant and varied experience in transactional real estate matters and in providing legal counsel to emerging businesses in an advisory role as general counsel. As general counsel to Hadley, she is responsible for providing the Company with legal guidance for all of its corporate matters and its real estate transactions.
Therese began her law career at Sherman Toppin Law Firm, and was responsible for drafting and negotiating purchase and sale agreements, commercial leases as well as other transactional real estate documents. Furthermore, she has served as the lead Asset Management Senior Analyst for the southern region at Pennsylvania Real Estate Investment Trust, managing approximately seven million sq. ft. of retail space within PREIT’s portfolio. During her five year tenure at PREIT, Therese’s primary responsibilities included preparation of forecasts and budgets for individual properties, approving leases, quarterly and annual corporate reporting for public disclosure documents, tenant audits, and managing strategic mall operating initiatives. Additionally, Therese served as the department’s main point of contact for the acquisitions group on dispositions. In 2007, Therese was awarded with PREIT’s Chairman’s Fund Award for providing “critical contributions to the Company’s bottom line.”
Prior to joining PREIT, Therese worked as a financial consultant with The Kensington Group in Bangkok, Thailand. At Kensington, she represented the company’s largest client in negotiations with an international consortium of lenders to settle potential bankruptcy litigation.
Therese is admitted to the bar associations in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania and the State of New Jersey. Therese received a Juris Doctor degree from Temple University Beasley School of Law in May of 2012.
